  1. Mike says:

I will ensure that at least i get hold of any supporter i know in ODM every day before the election and on that day we vote

  2. Agent4Change says:

    hi all
this is agent4change we are ready to go lets start pls make your comments as short as possible

  3. Sue says:

Thanks administrator, I urge ODM supporters to keep up the spirit, time is running out lets try assist ODM secretariat in everyway we can, with information, talking to people on the ground and bring back any issues from the ground to be tackled within the next 10 days. Those of us who believe in the power of prayers, lets continue praying for change earnestly and surely God will hear.

  4. Mike says:

What does this supporters dialogue mean?

  5. OT says:

I will be going to Muhoroni for holidays before heading back to nairobi to vote. during my one week there i hope to mobilise everyone i know to vote ODM 3 piece.

  6. benjamin says:

It is imperative that ODM supporters and the campaign secretariate to come up with a method of ensuring that people come out in large numbers and vote. Voter turnout is important something like whistle blowing early in the morning of voting day can be a great idea.

  7. Kanyeka says:

I urge all the ODMer to at least assist at least 10 voters during the election.

  8. faith says:

Hi ODMers the PUNU has given us a head start by te first ladys’ gaffe at a public function let us now be ready to reap the reward Agent for change tell ODM team to come to Thika we need to hear his excellency Raila Odinga tell us the vision for central province.

  9. Jamabinju says:

    1. Let us create a fund for people who want to travel upcountry to go and vote, and vice versa.
    2. Let us mobilise bodabodas to carry the sick and old on voting day
    3. Let us allow old and sick to vet first
    4. Let us force ECK to employ only registered voters in their constituencies. Aa lot of people are disenfranchised in ODM strongholds when they are recruited as poll clerks and sent to far away places….

  10. ismail says:

    HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!!

Man, will this mzee ever learn?!!

Just came from a muslim rally in jamia mosque.

The latest? Muslim brothers in Nairobi have been taken into custody, suspected of being involved in terrorism….(whatever that means?!!!!!)

And the evidence??….they say they found two grenades in a baby’s cot in one of the brothers houses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the facts??? we were told the two grenades were planted….the brother is knwon for his business in town, and how the hell do you hide two grenades in a one year-old baby’s cot?

Well, I can assure you big time the muslim vote was long decided before, but this one will just add ‘the traitor’s’ votes

But am more worried about something here:

Why would Kickback do this, at this time of electioneering?

My theory is that we are heading for massive rigging….taking in suspects haphazardly will please America, who in turn will keep mum after rigging….if you doubt this, just look at Pakistan and see how Musharraf can actually suspend a constituition and please america with war on terrorism…

Brace yourselves for massive protests from Muslims in the coming few days.

  11. Kissinger says:

I noticed that our candidate has over 60% in five out of the six provinces he is leading in. He has 47% in Nairobi and this makes me feel that there is still alot of work to be done in Nairobi. As the pentagon move across the country to consolidate votes, I appeal to supporters in Nairobi led by odm parliamentary and civic aspirants to intensify campaigns in this region to ensure we get atleast 55%. Remember, right now every vote counts and we should not relax.

  12. Felix Aduol says:

High all. We need to create security buffer to check the rigging being raised. I don’t think the Gema will just leave the power like that. We need to be strong and decisive.

  13. wiliams says:

our civic candidates are the ones clossest to the electorate. they should form groups of young pple who will be equiped with whistles. they should go round the villages mobilizing pple to come out and vote. they should also have atleast a mode of transport to assist the old and the sick make it to the polling stations. this is what Panua is upto. remember they have at their disposal the subchiefs, chiefs etc

  14. Njuguna Kariuki says:

Ensure you know everyone where they are voting. Make sure they have voted and they have confirmed.

    The likely culprits are
    1. Young ladies and young men ( 18-21 years) who may not fully appreciate what is at stake. If they are your brothers, sisters, relatives or neighbours ensure they have voted on that day.

    2. The elderly who may not be too concerned on what is happening . Get them out on that day and take them to the polling station. Make them know their choice is Raila long before you get to the polling station.

    3. People who have changed areas of residence. Make sure they travel. Offer them transport. Anyone who has moved- old neighbours just confirm with them they will come to vote and that day call them to be sure they have voted.

    4. Business people- may be a big problem in Mt. Kenya but it affects all Kenyans. Do not buy anything from a person who will not have vote ink.

    5. The sick- if not bedridden – ensure the get all assistance they need to go and vote.

    6. Dissillussioned people- those who could be still mad about nominations. Get them to vote for president only. let them know they have that option.

    7. Anyone you meet on the way show them you have voted ask them if they have done so.

  15. Jamabinju says:

    Ismael,

Poleni sana. Tell your brothers to chill, pray and vote. Change is coming tomorrow!

  16. Felix Aduol says:

We can use youths to mobilize people. Each and every aspiring MP and Civic members must be having some youths they can use to mobilize people to go and vote. Even if it means paying these youths allowances.

  17. Othams says:

We should encourage the women, the old people and frail to vote first and then we the young and strong vote later in the day so that we can keep vigil of the polling station.

  18. faith says:

    Felix Aduol

dont be worried about the GEMA people like me who reside from there have made our minds that we need change and if Kibaki thinks the there is any KIkuyu ready to go to the forest for him he is daydreaming

  19. Jamabinju says:

I also think the Pentagon needs to do another round of Nyanza, Western and South Rift then Coast. MK is now just boosting voter turnout

  20. ismail says:

    One more thing!!

Whoever it i sthat Rais intends to invite for handover, please for god sake do not invite GEORGE W. BUSH…..I have seen it in the Nairobi Star that Rais intends to invite that son of ********. I can assure you there will be no celebration from Muslims during that day…..we will surely protest against that Bushy character and forget about ODM, just overnight. trust you me.

there is a lot of anger in the community against that fellow. The vote for ODM is mostly because of Him and the rendition activities.

  21. Elizabeth says:

We should have sport lights, torches, tin lamps and match boxes all ready for any eventuality. These peopl can decide to put off lights in the process of counting so that they rigg in their already market ballot papers. In other words we should be watchfull. Extra!

Another thing let us stay calm ODMers, lets not create a rowdy atmosphere that can give an excuse to PUNU of causing chaos. These people can pour billions in ODM’s strong holds to cause chaos amongst ourselves. We should preach peace as well!

  22. Were says:

    Hi Pipo,

Am just from Ksm the other day. Its not so good that a good number of our ladies never took voting cards. All the same rigging is real and the only way to counter it is by coming out to vote in large nos. Pipo of God lets turn out and be ever determined to correct the various wrongs in our society.

  23. Jamabinju says:

    Faith,

Kaeni ngumu tu. You are one of the many Kenyans who will be celebrated when the story is told….like the Kenyans from Nyanza who voted for Kibaki after many years of artificail enmity to remove Moi

  24. Omuto says:

The electorate has to be EDUCATED on the importance of voting. This is better done collectively (for impact’s sake) in a rally or any other open air meeting. Among the incentives to be used for higher rally turn out (which will eventually translate to higher voter turn out) is RELEVANT MUSIC FOR RELEVANT GROUPS, and what I’ve talked about under supporters network.

  25. daddy says:

Ismail, is there something that could be done in Kenya Muslim community to revert the hate against W. Bush?

  26. daddy says:

there is this e-mail I have received how PNU is planning to Rig the Lang’ata votes………

    —————————–

Attention Kenyans -More intrigues in Langata

    I will be brief!

I was having a light drink yesterday evening between Zam-zam and Dagoreti
(I am avoiding specifics). Most of the regulars kept away , because of the
previous night’s binge in the name of celebrating independence. I get into
light conversation with a ‘fellow patron’ over the coming elections. Being a
Kikuyu lady, I am surprised that she owns up to the certainty of Raila
winning the presidential elections; but she cannot hide a smile as she
calmly tells me ‘Lakini Langata hatoboi’. I ‘play possum’ but really wants
to understand what she knows and I don’t.

She goes on… ‘mimi nilichukua kura kwa military (read army barracks). I
was registered at the Langata army barracks two months ago ,and come polls
day I am going to vote right inside the baracks. I acknowledged the
Government’s brilliance in coming up with such a fool-proof that strategy
but only after she gave me a rough estimate of the number of Langata voters
registered in Langata barracks. 4,000 ama 5,000 hivi, lakini siyo Langata
    barracks pekee………

Might be a mountain out of a mole hill but………

  27. Kanyeka says:

I also had some guys who felt that having a voters card is old fashioned ati wacha ubuyu!! now a nomber of them have.

  28. madi sheeyumbe says:

we dont care who comes for the celebrations what we want is A RAILA PRESIDENCY. we shall be there for tghe celebration no matter what. we know AGWAMBO WILL PROECT TYHE MUSLIMS RIGHT.

  29. Pablo says:

We should make a commitment to each others neigbors, send them reminder sms to sacrifice just an hour or two of voting then we can embark on to other busineses of the day. Remind ourselves of our slogans CHUNGWA MOJA NI MAISHA BORA and the PRESIDENT is bwana RAILA AMOLO ODINGA

  30. Mudekhere Owiti Silas says:

    Faith,

I too would wish to encourage u to soldier on…chang is in the air…however, we need to create a back-up surveillance in PUNU strongholds and am sure u can be of great help. We must make sure all polling clerks are keenly checked

  31. faith says:

    Jamabinju

Thank you as i said before all the price hikes affects all Kenyans there no one can say that if you go to a supermarket in Thika the price of bread and milk is different(read lower) than say in Kisumu all the hard ship, corruption and mismanagement of our economy affects all the 42+ tribes so my fellow kenyans i rest my case let us vote for change.

  32. Felix Aduol says:

Thanks faith. Sorry if i faltered Gema People. I meant the likes of Michuki

  33. Phil says:

BlogAdmin, I am glad that you and the campaign secretariat have come to the realization that Agwambo’s presidential hopes lies in voter turn-out. Anthing less than 60% voter turn-out means the ODM kisses the presidency good bye.

The only way to ensure a high voter turn out is to get a commitment from ODM faithful on this forum and elsewhere to undertake to do a door to door campaign immediately after the Uhuru Park Rally on 24th December. It means sacrificing the xmas holidays, but it also means reaping the sweet fruit of a new government. Voter turn-out is something the pentagon members, parliamentary and civic aspirants needs to put stress on at each public rally they address. Perhaps the campaign secretariat also needs to come up with mass media advertisements as well as fliers that can be distributed countrywide.

RAILA’S FATE AND THAT OF ODM LIES IN HIGH VOTER TURN OUT.

  34. Agent4Change says:

@ phil Yes thats what we are emphasizing we are excited with initiartives like this and many more taking place on the grounds to mobilize people to come out and vote

  35. Sam says:

Fellow ODMers, you have heard what Michuki and PNU are planning to do to ensure 100% turn out in their strongholds. In our case I propose each ODM Parliamentary Candidate must have Votes mobilizing team on the ground at each sublocation. They must invent their method of communication come the voting day.The Vote mobilizing team members at the sublocation should vote very early by six in the morning and then move from village to village, home to home, door to door telling people with voters cards to go and vote.Even those in hospitals should be supported to go and vote.

ODMers should not relax until the polling stations are closed, last votes counted and results announced. To us all votes are important even ODMers in areas regarded as PNU strongholds should work with extra vigour.Identify all ODMers around where you live and ensure they vote.

Those who have workers or people working under them should ensure all vote.I did it in 2002 and it worked.Voter turnout is very crucial to us this time round.

  36. faddie says:

we also need to stress to ODMers especially those in the rural areas the difference between ODM yetu na ile ya bwana miracles becoz some people especially the old men and women might get confused and and up voting 4 the prophet.
STRESS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 2.INFACT JUST SHOW THEM OUR SYMBOL .

  37. samokello says:

Our people still rely heavily on the word of their ministers. ODM should find a way to work with the pastors and deacons of churches across the nation to mobilize supporters to come to the polls, especially on Christmas Day when they go to churche.

  38. cratetuner says:

    voter turn out very important

  39. ismail says:

    I doubt it, daddy.

just keep the guy out of sight!

I know for sure guys will vote in RAO, and treat the matter as ‘propaganda’ of sorts, even with the ‘dick morris’ factor (remember how Taib took the opportunity, before being forced to eat the humble pie by kifaki?

    But pliz don’t bring him….

In as far as mobilization is concerned, I can assure you NAMLEF has got the structures to spread it all over Kenya. They are the ones who spearheded the muslims during Referendum, and they won accolades for that….in fact, their aggressiveness partly expalins why all over sudden the muslim constiutuency has become such headache for the PUNU guys

If anything, I trust Muslims will come and vote in RAO. A muslim supporting Punu is seen as a traitor, and you don’t find them in the streets….maybe in the punu boardrooms, but not in the streets….

but i repeat my fear: the latest turn-around and arbitrary arrests is meant to seek america’s pleasure so that they can ‘be allowed’ to rig massively. The US willl just turn a blind eye in Jan.

Little did they know that these will just add the remaining 10-15% of the bloc into the Orange Movement.

The angers are so high right now..to the extent that whoever doesn’t have a voter’s card is insulted for supporting the regime…leave alone voting…so there you go!

  40. Kanyeka says:

Guys how about holding the uhuru park rally as early as posible so that we finish b4 4pm then we all go for door to door campaign. we divide ourselfs in groups is that possible?

  41. Omuto says:

    FADDIE,
THAT’S WHY I SAID A MEAL TOP DRESSED WITH A FULL ORANGE IN OUR CREATIVE RALLIES WILL DO. FULL ORANGE.
WE ALSO NEED ODM T-SHIRTS AND OTHER MERCHANDISE BADLY.
CAN WE GET THE HANDBILLS? AM READY TO SPEND THE WHOLE NIGHT PAINTING KAKAMEGA ORANGE WITH OUR CAPTAINS HANDBILLS AND OTHER CAMPAIN MATERIALS.

  42. faddie says:

somebody talked about chief’s and their assistants being used by PNU.your fears are misplaced becoz if you remember well,Michuki used them for the referendum and it never worked.it will be a repest if not a white wash.they can only use them in PNU strongholds.

  43. Omuto says:

    AGENT4CHANGE,
Are you reading Silas Mudekhres comments above? OPPONENTS STRONGHOLD – WE NEED BACK-UP!!

  44. Sebby says:

Come rain come sunshine, My vote is for ODM i decided this long time and nothing will change it.

    ODM Maisha Bora

  45. Agent4Change says:

@Omuto, yes we are all here at the office reading all your comments

  46. Omuto says:

Any blogger from Western Kenya, especially Lurambi?
Can we meet on Monday to kick-start Raila’s campain here? The ODM flag bearer is in relax mode and the devil knows why. Lets organize and hit the road. I know we have RAO’s blessings. Am afraid secretariat, we might wait for your endorsement because you’ve taken time to respond to our pleas. Somewhere on this blog, I read something to the effect that the secretariat is not interested in volunteers, but am sorry to tell you that we’re out here for RAO and we have to work, guyz.

  47. Mudekhere Owiti Silas says:

    omuto!

ave decided to email agent4change asap over what ave gathered. your idea of food is laudable…am sure Kenyans will appreciate that image and presence matters in this region! we need the pentagon to do one sweeping show of might from Budalangi to Eldoret via kk and another to Namanga from Kisumu au sio?

  48. faith says:

Agent for change i want to ask again Raila’s plan for a rally especially in Thika.

  49. Mike says:

I think Raila should be more in the churches even if it is every Sunday and keep off that MOU issue kabisa from now hence forth. I know many Christians support him

If Raila doesnt want going to Nyanza lets send Ida, Ngilu and Nyaga and do a lot of ground work for the next week. That 24th Rally should be popularized the whole of next week.

  50. faddie says:

let’s get enough stock of oranges from after next week to supply on 26th au sio.
by the way watu wa coast mpo?

  51. Kanyeka says:

tell all aspiring councelers and MPs to get out n campaign

  52. cratetuner says:

i read 2 day in the news paper that michuki is planning 2 give his supporters whistles so on voting day they blow them all over so that people can wake up 2 vote and i remembered somebody had given that idea in this blog i ges michuki is getting all his ideas from this blog the brains of ODM bravo my fellow blogers

  53. faddie says:

i think now is the time the spouses of the pentagon to start campaigning as a group throughout the country.
i watched the reception our first lady got in western and i was amused.the pentagon women’s club should hit the road as a team the way their huzzys are doing.

  54. Mwangi Zakayo Irungu says:

seen this.. saw it from a blogger http://www.kumekucha.blogspot.com

Opinion polls ratings released today by Nation Media Group by Strategic Research, Infotrak Harris and Consumer Insight:

    Raila [46%, 45.8%, 42.5%]
    Kibaki [36%, 35.9%, 40.8%]
    Kalonzo [17%, 16.4%, 15.1%]

    Unofficial opinion poll survey done by the National Security Intelligence Service (NSIS) and leaked to this blogger by an insider shows that;

    With 100% average turnout Raila 63% Kibaki 27%;
    With a 90% turnout Raila 58% Kibaki 33%;
    With a 80% turnout Raila 53% Kibaki 39%;
    With a 50% turnout Raila 43% Kibaki 42%.

visist the sight to know more

  55. kijogoo says:

    they have stolen our land

they have stolen our national cake,

    they have taken our jobs.

BUT THEY WILL NEVER TAKE OUR WILL FOR CHANGE

    NO WAY GUY S

    TELL THEM IN THE OPEN

WE WILL NEVER LET THEM TAKE OUR DEMOCRATIC POWER

TELL THEM THIS IS NOT A SECREAT

    NO DEFEAT AT ALL

WE WON THE ELECTION LONG TIME AGO

  56. ismail says:

I know we agreed never to listen to opinion polls…..but just to stress on voter turn-out, check this out: source (kumekucha.blogspot.com):

TURN – OUT, TURN – OUT, TURN – OUT, TURN – OUT, TURN – OUT, TURN – OUT, My friends. Let it be one huge, sweet orange victory!!!!!

  57. faddie says:

definately crateturner.the source of all great ideas is ODM.

  58. Omuto says:

    Got you Silas.
Something else, the level of campaining now should (it has already) move from POPULARISING (Sensitization) to VOTER TURN OUT HUNT (Action). As RAO moves into the virgin regions to convince the 16%, can another group move a step higher and adapt MASSIVE VOTES hunt. The ideas we’re giving here can be employed during those very rallies, door-to-door or mobile phone sensitization. When the group arrives in a given town, let the morning be set aside for market to market (interior) or door to door and the affternoon be set for rallies, distributing themselves equally (with our genuine assistance) in different market centres before finalizing with one big 1 hour major rally in the town centre.

  59. Victoria says:

The time for change has finally come, lets leave nothing to chance let all the chungua moja mp all the chunga councillors come out and at embakasi Umoja ward alot of pple dont know who the ODM councillor is. I have had of Odemers in emaba who are planning to vote for Panua concillor just because they dont know who to vote for in Odm Pls Pls our mps and councillors stand out, speak our let the voters know you dont take anything for ganted. And to fellow ODMers lets declare our stands let put on those Tshirst, Caps anything that identify you with Agwambo it will encourage lots of pple who are in cocoon, confused to come out with confidance and vote in large numbers remember you are the sales agent for ODM. Viva ODM Viva Kenya State house tume wai wapende wasipened Hail to our president Raila Amolo Odinga, Long live Raila.

  60. otieno says:

Mike RAO is in Nyanza this week, some of it at least, culminating in the daughter of all rallies in Kisumu this sunday

  61. faddie says:

WE TALKED ABOUT ROADSHOWS FROM THIS WEEKEND TO 26TH,WHAT HAPPENED?IS IT STILL THERE?IF SO PLEASE LET ME KNOW THE ARRANGEMENTS.

  62. Phil says:

    Mwangi and Zakayo,

I posted that thread you guys are referring to at Kumekucha Blogspot.

I have also informed Agent4Change about the importance of turn-out.

Kazi sasa ni kwenu wana ODM. Kama muko tayara kufanya kampen za mlango kwa mlango sawa, basi Arap Mibei ata patiwa ushukani na wakenya.

    Thank you.

  63. Majitu says:

i think it starts with us…I am calling all my friends and making 27th a great plan…we will all go together to vote and make an outing of it! To encourage people you have to use numbers invite people to go with you or keep phone contact with them…no resting till the final vote is counted

  64. Felix Aduol says:

Am not inciting you guys but i think no one not even the observer should be allowed with their bugs inside the room until the counting is done.

  65. Mudekhere Owiti Silas says:

omuto u r right, am currently in kakamega and word has it that its a young man Called Udoto who is doing the real campaign for RAO. I can’t even tell who the ODM candidate is…my brother just mentioned a name like..Manyala or something????

The bodaboda guys ave talked to only mention Udoto!

  66. David Rogo says:

David from upperhill, a lot of sensitization by parliamentary and most importantly civic aspirants should ram this into our ODM fellow supporters heads otherwise we may lose. Keep this trend up Raila secretariat so that we can kick PANUA out of power…

  67. Felix Aduol says:

No one. I repeat No one should leave the voting station without voting for lame excuse like “her or his name is missing in the register”. Langata need more attention than any other. I aired this concern earlier on but no one answered it. Langata is the catch 22. Someone need to assure us in this.

  68. Mike says:

I have never seen Raila walk on foot seeking for votes i think its time he combed a certain area lets say each pentagon member in pairs then meeting in the afte for the big rally.

There is a time he did a Nairobi for RAILA that really did wonders. Thanks for telling me ODM is in Kisumu this weekend.

  69. Omuto says:

    AGENT4CHANGE,
CAN THE SECRETARIAT COME UP WITH AN ADVERT TO BE AIRED ON ELECTRONIC MEDIA REMINDING OUR YOUTH TO AVOID OVERDOSE PARTYING (ESPECIALLY POMBE NA WANAWAKE AU MACHALI) BEFORE 27TH DEC? LET THE ADD BE AIRED TWICE NEXT WEEK AND THROUGH OUT THE VOTING WEEK. WE’RE NOT READY FOR FOOD POISONING AT THIS CRUCIAL HOUR. THEY’LL REVISIT THEIR PLEASURE WITH RELISH ON 29TH OR EVEN REVENGE (SIC0 ON 31ST DEC WITH A NEW YEAR GIFT (RAILA, PRESIDENT OF KENYA).
SECRETARIAT, YOU CAN USE NACADA, ECK OR NAY OTHER BODY TO SPREAD THIS WONDERFUL GOSPEL ACCORDING TO ODM FAITHFULS.

  70. David Rogo says:

We are at the gate of statehouse pliz let us enter it on 27th …voters either bedridden, aged or lame should be carried to the voting hall to vote…pliz come up with a slogan GO OUT AND VOTE!!!

  71. Omuto says:

    MIKE,
You are a mind reader! You’ve just read my mind.
Agent4change has read it too, and RFS are ready to guide the bigwigs in the interior of Kakamega, Kisumu, Rabai, Turkana and other ODM strongholds. FOR HIGHER VOTER TURN-OUT, LET’S CONCENTRATE IN OUR STRONGHOLDS. VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!

  72. Omuto says:

If their is time to use our young and old artists, then this is the time, AGENT4CHANGE. They’ve to be paid, of course. Nzi kufa juu ya kidonda si haramu. If spending on them well will awaken some of our sleeping giants, then why not go ahead and do it? Kenya NEEDS RAO in state house badly.

  73. Sam Ochola, blooging from University of Aberdeen, Scotland says:

My fear lies with very LONG & SLOW QUEING in Kenya’s scotching sun. I observed this in the past Most voters especially women tend to give up the quei, return home with the premise to return later to Vote. These women often have genuine excuses ie a check on kids, make lunch, fetch water, firewood etc. Equally the youthful young Voter could be urged by elderly family voter to get back Home & check on the Livestock. So it happens the wazee wanabaki kwa Mlolongo whilst the women & youth voters return Home for some reason or Another.
Once they are Home they DON’T RETURN to the polling station to Vote.
We must adress this scenario & encourage people to stay the course, kwa laini to the End.
Let women and elderly Voters carry some water to DRINK whilst on the QUEIU. This is very certain situation in the rural areas eg Turkana, Samburu, North Eastern. TAFADHALI WABEBE MAJI, voters with water could share with ones who don’t. lET US NOT LOOSE KURA BECAUSE OF KIU/thirst. Also they carry Umbrellas for the sum or rain. Elderly voters are vulnerable in the sun. UMBRELLA, DRINKING WATER & PRIORITY TO PREGNANT, SICK & VERY NEEDY VOTERS TO CAST FIRST.
aSANTENI, am on enroute home to Vote Come 27th in Langata. MY kQ ticket is ready via Amsterdam

  74. Omuto says:

    SILAS,
UDOTO IS DOING RAILA PROUD. HE MIGHT NOT BE THE BEST OPTION, BUT HE IS BETTER BY FAR COMPARED TO THE ALREADY SLEEPING ODM FLAG-BEARER, MANYALA KEYA. (SECRETARIAT, ARE YOU READING US

  75. Alfred Osewe says:

At my work place am known as chairman for ODM and beleive me come that day i wiil make sure that i will encourage atleast 20 guys to go and vote for odm.
We actually need this change and must work for it.

  76. ismail says:

Ismail : blogging from nairobi, town center, and voting in mvita 3 piece.

    Agent4change:

Please note my comments on the invitation of George W.Bush during hand-over. Bring in a unifier, like Mandela, not a destroyer, like G.Bush.

In fact, if the matter is sustained before voting day, we will start the ODM revolution with trouble – from muslims.

The best you can do is to avoid the guy altogether. the earlier the better.

  77. faddie says:

omuto and rogo, you guyz are spot on.
    1. NO PARTYING,DRINKING OR ANY PLEASURES ON 26TH.INFACT I WOULD SUGGEST FROM 25TH.DEFER ALL YOUR PLEASURES TO 28TH.SAWA VIJANA NA WAZEE?
    2. LET’S MAKE SURE THAT WE TAKE ALL THE AGED TO VOTE ON 27TH.IT WILL BE A SHAME ON YOU IF YOU FAIL TO TAKE YOUR OLD PARENTS TO VOTE ON THAT DAY. MAKE ARRANGEMENTS AND IF POSSIBLE,TAKE THEM THERE YOURSELF.THERE WON’T BE ANY EXCUSE IF YOU DON’T.
BY THE WAY IT DOESN’T LIMIT YOUR HELP TO YOUR RELATIVES ALONE.HELP ANYBODY WILLING TO VOTE BUT WHO FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER MIGHT NOT HAVE ENOUGH ENERGY.

  78. Elizabeth says:

Yes Yes Yes let us put all our energy back in our strongholds and this I mean the 6 provinces that we have a grip on. Victory is assured if we give it our best short.
Just when can these PUNU heads generate their own ideas? They are copycats…its official. And we are going to give them black out after this. Watch this space!

  79. faith says:

this is truly a glorious day i am fired up i cant wait for 27thdec.

  80. Mike says:

George B. should not even come for now but that matter should not even be discussed
because i think it will do more harm than good

  81. Jamabinju says:

Jamabinju, from Upperhill Nairobi, voting in Kamukunji, campaigning in Rarieda:

    Ismail,

Secretariat have noticed. I also agree. Bush adds no value and will not even come anyway. The guy had only been to Guienea and Canada by the time he was becoming president. He is too polarising to be invited.

  82. Omuto says:

    AGENT4CHANGE,
Faddie has touched on something very crucial – ROADSHOW (and I add, motorcade from Kericho to Bungoma, if possible). We talked about this in a different forum. What is being done about it?
May the real YKR07 please stand up? They were in Kakamega a fortnight ago. It was good to have them around, but they didnt hit as we expected. They came in old-school style. Can they style up for rally turn-out’s sake?
Am waiting for the advert as from Sunday (Vijana Msilewe lewe lewe vijana msilewe, mpaka 29th! – or Vijana msilewe, bado mapambano)

  83. zizi says:

sorry, i ma late but i think mine counts too. I propose that a campaign: Vote with Winning Side should also be included. There are many opponents who knowing they will lose will want to vote for ODM anyway. Make them believe they wont regret their vote anyway.

  84. Philip, blogging from Madrid, (Spain), voting in Bondo Primary, Bondo.

Thanks Ismail for that leaked NSIS opinion poll especially stressing on voter turn out. Guys now we know that we all have to wake up at 4.30 a.m. on 27th Dec. and head straight to the polling stations. Remember we have to ensure that we help inspecting the ballot boxes and papers so that there are no already marked voters cards in the ballot boxes and the names of our presidential, parliamentary and civic candidates are in order respectively. The venue has to inspected all round so that no soul leaks anything inside the station.
    ODMers!!! Lets go guys.

  85. Ngaruni says:

Every minute counts. We must capture all the votes for ODM candidates and Raila. I urge everyone especially those travelling to the Zones classified as PUNU to reach out to as many as possible.
Am leaving for Meru over the weekend not to enjoy X-mas but reach out. Then come back to Kiambaa to cast my Vote. Central Kenya IKO Kura Mingi sana ya ODM & Raila.

  86. Mike says:

Where did our bus go to its long since i saw it do any action the hummer
I think dinner time is over and hence the pentagon bus should not be grounded any further its time it started ferrying supporters from one corner to the other

  87. faddie says:

pole guyz.i’ve got 2 scatter.i hope we can have a repeat of this.Agent4change when is the next blog day?see ya’ guyz.

  88. zizi says:

We need to repeat something similar to the nomination speech by Raila on the morning of Xmas. He should give a televised speech to nation is the same sprirt and tenor of a president. I rem when he delivered the nomination acceptance speech, some of the opponents were really amazed and remarked that if Kibaki was not careful, RAO will be president. Touch the nerves of kenya and see voters turn out.

    Move on.

  89. Rob Maiya says:

    Guys,

Tell people about the monster of tribalism. Take advantage of the fear Kenyans have for tribal hegemonies, and present ODM as the multifaced institution that it is. Talk about Mt. Elgon and shed tears as you do so. And ensure that mammoth roadshows everywhere are undertaken. Paint the country Organge and ensure that over the next few weeks, PNU discovers that indeed that the Polls are nothing compared to the spectacular reality of the support that ODM enjoys

Tell the people, loudly, to eat from PNU and vote for ODM. I think we have a fabulous lead, and Lucy has just helped us by yet again demonstrating that we have a bunch of sickos at State House. Do you really want to see the likes of Michuki, Kiraitu and Karua leading Kenya? I think we are a great country – but currently, an international laughing stock because MK has nothing to offer not only the Kenyan citizenry or the world in terms of policy standpoints, etc. Internationally, Kenya is worse off than it was during Moi’s rule. And moi was BAD.

  90. Sam ,from Rumbek South Sudan says:

    Ismael

The issue of George Bush being invited by RAO/ODM is a PNU propaganda do not buy it but through it away.

  91. Jamabinju says:

    Agent4change,

I also got to go! Can you please summarise the stratgeies here and give us feedback on what is being implemented? You have our emails.

God bless Kenya, God bless Raila! God bless us all! Bado Mapambano!!

  92. edduking says:

zizi yours is a brilliant Idea…may ODM might organize a meet the delegates kind of forum in which the ODM vision will once again be read by our president

  93. Mike says:

I think i got to leave, anyway if only quarter of this is implemented by all of us then PNU IS DEAD meat. I hope we will implement all and the enemies be scattered. Pliz right now watch your tongue and actions

  94. william says:

Hon.Raila and the pentagon should make sure that they pump this issue of voter turnout during the 24th Uhuru park rally!

  95. kings Manyuon says:

Do what you can to encourage at least one person to vote on 27th. A number of youths btw the age of 18 – 24 yrs still don’t see the importance of voting. Do not castigate them but just as RO says seduce them with good points on the importance of voting.
To the secretariat why don’t you design a small sticker urging people to vote on 27th. For the next few days we can see them on matatus, buses, restaurants etc yaani those places where posters cant reach.

  96. Sam Ochola, University of Aberdeen, Voting in Langata says:

Queing long under Scotching sun isn’t fo the faint-hearted. Let’s urge Voters especially the Rural folks to bring some drinking water with them. Women are fond of abandoning the mlolongo at some point to return home; They would genuinely return to check on the kids, prepare lunch, fetch firewood, water etc. The Sad thing is that once they’re back Home, they hradly return to the polling station to cast their Vote.
Equally Young male voters in the rural could fall prey to this; they would be urged by the elderly voters to return Home to look after Livestock & like the wamama, they never Return to Vote.
Let’s pay Convern to these absconding voters leaving the polling station before voting. It could be sunny or Rainy; Carry an umbrella for that matter. Share out drinking water whilst still on the Quei/laini. Priority to Baby caring mothers/pregnanat, wazee na wale wote wanyonge wapige kura kwanza.
Am enroute Home to cast my Vote at Langata.

Forget about the PNU illusion, Langata is Impregnable zone, Rais will scoop 50,000 votes for Bunge and state house.
    Chungwa mmoja Maisha bora

  97. abby says:

Blow whistles, and horns. Carry the sick in sretchers , guiede the blind, sign to the deaf, and babysit for mothers. Postpone any sherehes e.g. weddings, birthdays and even funerals.

  98. Otsiatso says:

Next time there is blog day,the moderator needs to provide constant feedback to keep people focused. People are saying the same things they have said elsewhere.
    My suggestions:
    1. Dec. 26th. should be an orange day – tshirts, head bands, wrist bands, shooes, anything orange – a reminder that next day is election

    2. In each location / village there should be a desiganted team of young people armed with “frimbis” which will be blown at specific times ex. 6AM, 8AM etc. every two hours, recruit churches to toll bells, muezzins to call out and ermind people. [this is not my idea someone else in Nyanza did]

    3. On the 26th. go to market places and play music and videos / film of the ODM launch remind people.

Others I suggested in a previous blog

  99. dennis k says:

hi people. voter turnout has the potential to make or break us. ideas on how to ensure we have the numbers come d-day are desperately needed. i appeal to all business owners or bosses to allow their employees to go and vote. those of us with domestic workers too. for those among us that are more financially blessed, give your workers busfare to and from the polling station. that gesture, along with a nudge in the orange direction will help.

  100. solomon says:

I remember during the referandum the ODM had introduced some form of competition in their strongholds.

In Kismu today ODM could make a promise on the the three constituencies that would return the highest voter turnout and vote for the ODM flagbearer. The same should be repricated in all the remaining homestretch rallies. Riftvalley, Western, Nyanza, Nairobi, North-Eastern and Coast must be the main targets.

  101. Anne says:

I stay at Kariobangi South, am a voter at Starehe Constituency. On the eve of voting, we shall hold a virgil at Ziwani with a large group of ODM supporters. At 5am on 27th Dec, we shall blow our orange trumpets from South Africa, commonly known as Vuvuzela, to awaken all the ODM supporters, mtaani to go to Kariakor Social Hall and vote in Agwambo, Bishop Wanjiru and Mogolo in three piece! Kamanda hana lake hapa! Pole to Bishop for the cowardly attack on you by kamand thugs. His days are over.

  102. faddie says:

has somebody heard the chungwa version of mugithi song by kayamba afrika.av just listened to it on classic fm and am impressed.
i think this can be the rallying song for ODM.it can be the ‘unbwogable” of 2007.
    kudos to the composer.

  103. faddie says:

the firimbi and bells ideas are fantastic.but i also wanted to suggest the following:
1.ODMers should wake up as early as possible so as to be the first ones on the queau to vote.such that by 3pm,we should all have voted.this is so especially for guys voting in major towns like in nairobi.
2.ODMers in rural areas should let the sick, old and women to vote first.
3.those who can get oranges to station themselves at places near the polling stations such that they distribute them to people on their way to the poling stations.in the process you get to remind them on the need to vote for CHUNGWA MOJA.

  104. KOECH JOHN. says:

I am once more taking this space to repeat my words of 6/12/07
urging ODMers in every part of the Republic of kenya not to forget to vote on 27/12/07
plz..plz..pz keep on reminding your friends on the same as the clock is ticking towards that. Remember actions speak louder than words ,so lets not forget to do the neccessary.Meanwhile, let’s proceed on with our voter mobilization.

  105. ITALIANO says:

I here you, I feel you.
I was in the lift last week going to my place of work and I met a Coasterian lady who works next to our company. I asked her if she’s voting and the answer she gave me really encouraged me. She told me ” I HAVE TO VOTE COZ I WANT CHANGE. I didn’t ask her who she’s voting for, but the answer was enough. I just told to spread that answer to more people and I’ll do the same. Let us mobilze our people to vote on that day. Starting NOW, get some airtime, key in the words ‘GET OUT AND VOTE FOR RAILA ON DEC 27 IF YOU WANT CHANGE, send the message to FIVE ODMers you know and encourage them to relay it to five people or more if they want CHANGE. Imagine how many people will receive the message if we all do that!! Believe
me it will spread like bush fire.

  106. Mwangi Zakayo Irungu says:

We are almost there. The rally in Kisumu was massive, and now to the secretariat… please we should now stop making more promises and emabark on real voters;s mobilization. The higher the Turnout, the higher chances of raila winning are.
That should be the message now and if we get an over 80% voters’ turnout then we are there.
To all.. On wed, Raila will be on Kiss FM from 7:00 PM, its a holiday so dont oversleep, lets listen to him and am sure he will win a few votes

  107. Denis Odinga Okiya says:

I have been sending out SMS messages everyday reminding peope that the victory is ours and the results are out. ALL THAT IS LEFT IS TO TURN OUT IN LARGE NUMBERS AND VOTE CHUNGWA MOJA MAISHA BORA. The message that we should stress now is to make sure people vote and be ready to facilitate the process. I mean if someone claims he or she has no transport, let us look for money and facilitate the transport. I did that during the referendum and many others did it. LET US CONFIRM THIS VICTORY BY VOTING.

  108. faddie says:

these candidates we are complaining about conned people of the nominations knowing very well that they were not serious about being elected becoz that is what they were sent by PNU to do.this would ensure that:
1.people don’t vote for raila in those constituencies
2.that ODM doesn’t get majority of the legislators
3.that WHEN raila wins,he won’t have enough numbers to help him in running the government.this way it would be easy to frustrate his efforts to govern and bring the much needed change.
i think this is basically sabotage.otherwise, can the secretariat investigate what is going on and let us know?

  109. Obonyo says:

Hi all let us have some flutes “Oporo” to wakeup people on 27th.Also let the youth guard all the polling station any polling station that rigging is to take place a flute should be use to mobileze the youths

  110. festus says:

Please make sure your kneibour votes.
please jitolee for if not this time there is no other time.
we must mobilze people to vote,if you have a bicycle use it to fery all that cannot walk due to one way or the other.
Please my fellow youths i beg you do not drink from 25th dec.drink on 29th dec after annoucement of results.
Please fishermen do not go fishing go voting since we want Agwambo in, he is the best fish kenya is ever going to catch.
Please all travellers do not travel stay at home and vote for better travelling conditions which is Agwambo.
Business men and women do not go to your usual businesses for we do not want business to be AS usual go to the business of voting agwambo for better business opportunity.
Farmers kindly do not go farming this day we have a big field to cultivate let us start early farm agwambo,he is the best yield you will ever bring to your stores this season.
KINDLY LET YOUR VOTE CHANGE KENYA FOR REAL.ALL MUST VOTE.

  111. jambaisi says:

Dear ODMers, It’s alleged that PNU will be ferrying all ODM registered voters in Nairobi (Lang’ata) free of charge in ‘city hoppas’ to their rural upcountry homes for xmass. The plot is that by ferrying them upcountry, they’ll be unable to return to the city to cast their votes before the end of the festive season. So all ODM supporters in Lang’ata and elsewhere, pls lets watch out so we don’t fall prey to this PNU trap meant to rig out our president while reducing our voter turnout. Watch out for any goodies meant to entice you not to vote, and report it immediately to the ODM campaign secretariat. Remember the future can only be orange if we stop PNU from rigging, and this we must do for our candidate to triumph in the 27th polls.

  112. ODM says:

Getting the youth leaders from every constituency to encourage ODMErs to get out and vote on the 27th

  113. jambaisi says:

ODMers, the success of our candidate begins with capturing Lang’ata Constituency. I’ve evidence that rigging has already been effected in Lang’ata. through voter transfers. I’ve spoken to over 50 PNU supporters from central who exude confidence and acknowledge that RAO will not make it in Lang’ata. As evidence, they produce their voter’s cards for Lang’ata though they reside elsewhere. Lets watch out for non-Lang’ata residents since their goal is to rig out our candidate in Lang’ata. Lets also brainstorm on how best this can be averted. I’ve volunteered to privately monitor the elections in Kasarani and report to the Agent4Change with photographs of suspicious activities.

Lastly, my passionate appeal to all ODM supporters………’Bado Mapambano’ till we cast our votes for RAO on 27th.

  114. JOY says:

It is critical that we get any many of our supporters to their polling stations. For those who are registered upcountry and work in Nairobi. Could there be transport/facilitate for them. For those who will have travelled upcountry and are registered in Nairobi we have to HELP them get back to Nai. I gave my maid extra money to ensure she gets back to Nai to vote. C what u can do….
    Sanyu

  115. JOY says:

support your supporters do we get extra days off in jan if he wins….hire city hoppas

  116. raphael says:

odm supporters (mathare 4A) shall wake up @ 4.30am. whistles shall blow and people will assemble in the streets before marching to the polling station. after voting- keep vigil to avoid any rigging.

  117. Omuto says:

On Saturday am visiting Kakamega Provincial General Hospital to pray with the patients and inquire who among them has a willing spirit (to vote, of course) but a weak body. I want to psychologically prepare them for 27th December because I’ll have to ferry at least ten of them to their respective polling stations (as long as they’re registered within Kakamega Town). I’ll do this on my own expense. I know they might need some lucozade after that exercise. Am working out with gays these end to see that we get them at least 500ml of lucozade after they cast their votes. I urge all of us to plan and transport at least two disabled registered cases to the polling stations on that day. I’ll keep you posted on my survey come Sunday morning.

  118. Omuto says:

THREE TYPES OF RIGGING, DEAR BLOGGERS.
    1. Absentee voters being voted for in PNU strongholds. If the number exceeds 100% of the registered voters, then the entire thing is nullified.
    2. Absentee voters being voted for in ODM strongholds + stashing of marked polling paper in our ballot boxes by none other than our competitor’s friendly Presiding Officers and clerks. In this case, ODM marked papers, so that the voter turnout can exceed the 100% to enable Kivuitu disqualify us. Now, that’s more painful than the normal rigging where our competitors will stash a few marked papers in their own ballot boxes to boost their turnout by a mre 10% so long as it doesnt go beyond 100%.
    3. I’ve talked about this in a different forum on this blog:- Where Wafula sells his vote to Livondo, who uses it to fake an ID with the same particulars and give it to a 17 year old Kamau who will present himself as Onyango. THIS WILL MAKE OUR GUYS LESS SUSPICIOUS BECAUSE INSTEAD OF GETTING TOO MANY KAMAUS BEING CALLED BY THE POLLING CLERKS IN LANGATA AND THUS RAISE EYEBROWS< YOU”LL ONLY HEAR OF THE FAMILIAR, LESS SUSPICIOUS WELL KNOWN NAMES. BY THE TIME YOU REMEMEMBER WHAT HIT YOU, THE CULPRIT IS OUT OF SIGHT. THIS KIND OF VOTING WILL INFACT MAKE YOU WONDER WHY MANY WAFULAS AND ONYANGOS VOTED YET KIBAKI AND RAILA HAVE A SIMILAR FIGURE IN TERMS OF COUNTED VOTES!

Watch out for all the three. VIGILANCE! VIGILANCE!VIGILANCE

Have a vigilant month. Wont you?

    CHUNGWA MOJA, MAISHA BORA.

  119. KOECH JOHN. says:

As you read this message, remember to vote and if you are a forgetful person or you are too busy to remember what to do MORNING 27-12-07, assign your friends to remind you .USIPEWE MPAKA CHE ON 26/12/07,UPEWE ON 27/12/07 MPAKA CHE YA 28/12/07 instead i.e for those who love “one for the road” stuff.Me i will make sure the ink is in my finger as i take mine in my joint that THURSDAY AFTERNOON,as i boast to my friends that i have voted fo Raila(ODM) 3-piece.

  120. Felix Aduol says:

I request all of you who drinks to suspend it till 28th or 27th after voting. At this rate, PNU might poison people with alcohol. Just being cautious.

  121. Felix Aduol says:

Moderator i hope you have taken note of that issue raised by Omuto. IT IS VERY KEY

  122. Micah k Boiywo says:

Dear kenyans , let us make use of this opportunity to endorse the real change we have been yeaning for, make sure that u vote on 27th Dec 2007 .VOTE RAILA THE SYMBOL OF REAL CHANGE. Let us this one important DAY really important for the next 5 years .Don’t forget to keep your voters card save it’s your LIFE .

  123. violet says:

hi av convinced al the pple that i know to vote 4 raila n still doing so i will not back down till 27 when raila will be anounced the president. pple should not leave out their family members.its time 4 change n we will have it by friday next wk.if you know anybody who registered n is still away plz lets come 2gether n assist them if possible to transport them to their various polling stations.pple should turn out on that day very early in the morning lets do it like the one in refferundum lets also do it the tsunami style this time .

  124. Omuto says:

Thanks to KTN. No wonder your waves are constantly being interrupted by the government owned CCK. If what the AP on KTN Leo today (Saturday) is anything to go by, then the ballot papers being marked are purely for ‘over voting’ the ODM strongholds so as to disqualify the results. We’re doomed with this kind of approach. Who shall save us from these savages, now that we’re banking on these particular APs for security come 27th!!!!!!!
I’D RATHER DIE THAN ACCEPT A RIGGED ELECTION!!! THA APOSTLE PAUL SAID FOR ME TO LIVE IS CHRIST BUT TO DIE IS GAIN, especially now that Kibaki wants to rule us by force. What am saying is, if the forthcoming elections are going to be rigged, then they’re worthy dying for!! Walking naked in the streets will be an option for me!!!
